English comparative - 5th year

    Hi I was wondering if anyone, in particular English teachers, could offer some advice on the length of the comparative essay for theme and issue as I have only covered two out of three texts and have to write an essay due on Monday.

    I hope this is in the right forum if not you can move it.

    All of your comparative essays should be around 5-7 pages for people with average-sized handwriting, though your teacher shouldn't really be giving you a full question if you've only done two texts (unless it's one of the ones where it says write about at least two texts I guess)

    Thanks and she is just getting us used to comparing the texts ... I should have stated that aswell sorry.

    It should be 4-6 pages for two texts but more when you have covered all three texts :) hope that helps. My class has only done two texts and on the third text right now and she made us do an essay aswell. I like the comparative it's interesting.

    Thank you it's good to hear other people's opinions it actually helps so much and I love the comparative so much.
