    HI

In process of a new build and looking at window choices , think I would like a dual colour for the windows ie Black on outside and possibly white or cream/ivory on inside. Anyone have this that can comment on how it looks ?
Also wanted to paint the walls and skirting boards white - would this work ok with the cream window frames inside ?
Doors are going to a light oak , architraves and skirting white possibly

    thanks

    IMHO

Cream is manky and the domain of the 90's colour blind home decorator ( I just managed to Alienate half the country in one go)

White skirting and timber architraves/doors? Would you not go with one or the other?

Are the Windows Alu or pvc - what colour guarentee/warrant is on offer, 10years? Dark grey IMO looks better.

If you were going with oak doors, I'd probably just go wtih white architraves and skirting. I think too much wood can look busy and dated.

With regard to the windows, if your house is along the contemporary style, I'd choose dark grey over black for the outside, and possibly either white or grey for the inside.

Here is a photo of dark grey window frames with white architraves- I think it looks really fresh and modern imo. I agree with Brian, unlesss your house is a traditional country-style house, I'd steer welll clear of cream!
