    Hi guys
The last week or so my WiFi speed on a 100 down 20 up package has gone from avg 50mb down to 94mb nearly maxing out my speed, I find this odd, it's a Vodafone huawei router, does any body know why this sudden jump.

Could be any number of factors - interference from other devices in the vicinity, or maybe the router switched to a better channel (if wifi channels set to auto) if you login to the router you can manually adjust wifi channels.

Assuming you dont mean your wifi speed but you actual WAN speed, its likely the cab was vectored. This causes the lines to be rerated and speeds bumped if applicable.

My dsl still says 100 down if it was vectored would this remain at 100

My Ethernet is still at 95 down but over wireless I'm getting 90 now when a few weeks ago and for about 1.5 years before this, I was getting 50 over wireless

Maybe your OH or neighbour has decided to stop downloading pron and given you a speed bump. Be Happy!

Happy alright, just curious as to what's going on seems strange!
