Painting skirting with carpet tip

Was dreading this job, but found that it worked very well. Got some good masking tape and I moved it under the skirting board using a filling knife. This left it that the carpet was protected when painting the skirting. Very happy with it. Got the advice here if anyone finds it beneficial…
