I'm just wondering what the view on buying a HedgeCutter is here? I have an awful amount of ditches that need cutting back most likely brested but not sawed as there are no large trees of note causing problems. Basically some tidying up. After getting the. Also there ifs a lot of trees and ditches getting out of control!

My question is, is it worth buying one second hand? I would probably have a good bit of work for one but not an outrageous amount. If so, what kind and what money are we talking? The other option is a contractor. But obviously there is a cost to this aswell.

It depends on what time you have yourself as well. I find for jobs like this a good professional is usually good value for money.
The major trim is most likely a one off with minor work every few years after.
