Equestrian/horse books

Hi there,
The GF is big into horses and I bought her Clare balding's book 'My animals and other family' a while back and she loved. im just looking to get her something similar or better. She is in her mid twenties and is more into factual stuff but suggest anything he might think would suit.

Does she have any equine related books? Is she sitting, or planning on sitting her BHS exams?

I bought a few of Mark Rashid's books a good few years ago and really enjoyed them. Good if she's into equine behaviour and problem solving.

Thanks all, no she isn't doing the BHS and yes she is currently riding so there are some great books suggested. The Rashid books n the history of the thoroughbred sounds best. Thanks a million

I know you said she isnt sitting her BHS exams but if she's interested in knowledge based books, their books would be a safe bet too.
