    Hello all

I'm about to sign-up for a course in New Horizons. The delivery format of this course is "Mentored learning". I have never taken a course delivered this way, the course is not cheap, so I would love to hear opinions, especially those from people that may have already gone through this method.

    Cheers!!

Mentored Learning is basically sitting at a screen, wearing headphones watching training videos and doing labs. There is a supervisor in the room who can answer questions about problems you might have. But the supervisor will be dealing with other students and might not be a specialist in what your studying.

I did an ML course last summer and I did pass the exams eventually but I felt that the studying I did on my own (CBT Nuggets etc) was more beneficial. But doing the ML did give me the motivational start I needed.

    I don't think I'd do it again.

I looked at similar. The style of training doesnt suit me personally and I feel its v expensive for what it is.

    Just my 2 cents.

Yeah. I suppose I could watch videos at home. Not too sure I like the idea of headphones and a video.
