Casual Jobseekers amount

Hi all, sorry there might be a really obvious explanation to my question so I said I'd ask here before ringing the social welfare crowd just in case.

My days at work have been reduced to three so I've signed on to jobseekers benefit to claim for the other two days. I have enough PRSI contributions and was told I'm eligible for the full €188 p/w with €37 taken off for every day I work.

I received a cheque last week for €150 which covered from the 10/3 until the 23/3. So works out at €75/ pw.

Today I received a cheque for €37 for the 24/3-30/3. I still only worked three days and had Ben marked correctly - plus I though if you worked over three days you get nothing not one days worth of payment?

Just wondering if I should give them a buzz looking for the other €37 or if I'm missing something simple! Thanks for any help :)

Also if I do need to ring them, does anyone know what the best number to reach someone who could deal with this would be?

If Easter Monday was one of the days that you didnt work you wont have received sw payment for it because your employer would be expected to pay you for bank holidays if you you work a certain amount of hours prior to a public holiday... the same applies to your payment 10/3 - 23/3 which includes St Patricks Day which is a public holiday. For further clarification call into your local office.
