China has announced a series of sanctions against North Korea.

The country has restricted imports of North Korean coal and sales of jet fuel under UN sanctions.

The Security Council passed a resolution in March, which expanded UN sanctions aimed at withholding funds for the North's nuclear and ballistic missile programmes. It came after Pyongyang conducted four tests in recent months.

Interesting. Will have a huge impact against NK's economy.

NK gets the 'Ultimate Bad Ass' status only when Putin condemns them.

I'm out of the loop with global stuff but I thought China/NK were "allies" or rather, a sort of "if you invade NK then China is gonna defend them"?

With a famine about to begin in NK and this, would it cause a political coup possibly?

Probably not but all hail supreme kim for his fight against the entire world!

For us it's a famine at the moment, for them it's normal life. But a famine for NK is being warned to come after recent UN sanctions. I really pity the ordinary north korean who'll be starving and being told tell will have to "chew the roots of plants once again".

It was coming considered NK said they considered china an enemy recently.

in saying that the NK leadership are looney tunes and we have no idea what they will do it they think their days are numbered

As of recent FatBoy has been requesting negotiations with the US, maybe threatening to nuke Washington DC isn’t the best place to start.

Been coming for a long time. China doesn't like allies who do stupid things.

I'd say that will have NK ****ting a brick for all their rhetoric. Messing with China is the absolute dumbest thing they could do.
