I've put in a request to get the cycle path swept as it's in a bit of a state. Feel free to report it to fixmystreet.ie to try and move it up the list of priorities. Judging from the amount of manure on the path the awkward gates to keep horses out don't work.

Horse manure on the paths wouldn't worry me so much as how badly turfed up the unpaved sections are by horses after the wet weather. The section coming into Sallins was a swamp when I went through it a couple of weeks ago. To be fair, at the Clondalkin end, the kids with horses are usually on the unpaved side of the canal.

Is it a cycleway or a greenway?
