Not sure if the right area? Mods please move if needed.

Had a new hob extractor fan installed but the hole drilled out through the wall is 6" and now I need a 6" external hooded weatherproof cowel however woodies only stocks a 4".

Anyone know where to get a 6"?

Have a similar problem myself right now. There's different ways it can be resolved but have a look on amazon.co.uk
And enter kitchen fans. They have lots of components which will do the job.

Had looked on amazon and ebay, lots of 4" but 6"seems to be a struggle.

Found this one but as its the outside/external vent would prefer it to be hooded as it gets windy and often those flaps blow off.

Kitchen installer was worried reducing to a smaller size could void warranty in case of issues with extractor fan.

Whats size extract pipe is on unit?
does the fan have an internal back flap?
If so doubling up with such a flap on outside may reduce the effectiveness

Extract pipe is 150mm I believe. I do believe there is a internal backflap that blows open and then shuts when extractor is off.

    Its this extractor:
