Springboard course and withdrawing

I'm thinking of accepting a Springboard course but I'm not sure if I'd be suited to it. I have to accept it in order to try it out and I'm wondering if I decide early on - like after the first 2 days that it isn't for me can I withdraw from the course or would there be consequences as far as social welfare. Would they have to pay my course fees as well?

Would really appreciate if anyone has any knowledge or experience of this thanks

Hi I know this post is a little old but just wondering how did you get on with the withdrawing from the springboard course? I am in the same situation now the course really isn't suiting me at all unfortunately

They can cause a lot of problems for you if they look at it - refusal to engage/train up, cut off, made to a free labour scheme etc

Thanks for the reply. I am working 4 days a week so it's not like I gave up the course to do nothing, the days I was needed in work were conflicting with the days of college on some days so I thought I would be OK seeing as I'm working. Didn't hear anything from them anyway

Hi there I am in the same boat now. I’m working 5 days a week and didn’t realise how intense my course was going to be whilst working from home.

Did you end up leaving the course and were there any repercussions ?

I'm also at the point where I dont want to continue due to the huge time commitment required, which I had initially underestimated. I work full-time also and paid fees of circa 400e. I'm also wondering what the consequences are...?

No I stuck it out and am just muddling through! Had to lower my expectations and standards and just attend (online) where I can. I'm doing all the assignments but bare minimum. Passed semester 1 and expect to pass semester 2. Interested in some modules, less in others but not hard to scrape a pass. Still a lot of work however. I estimate about 30k words to write between 6 modules!! Level 8.
