    Hi,
Hesitant in posting this here! So if it violates anything, mods feel free to remove. I'll try and keep within guidelines ;)

I have created a review site for ISPs. I wont mention the url here as pretty sure that's not allowed. The idea of the site is simple enough, to post reviews for your ISP. I did notice another site that did similar but my site is a bit different. It allows you to breakdown reviews by a county and also by town and service type (FTTH etc.) Other features to be added in future, such as reporting issues in your area, checking others speeds etc.

Going by the number of "Does anyone know what X provider is like in Y town??" posts on here I think it would be useful.

However I do realise that review sites can suffer from the fact that if something is good then people are happy and don't bother with anything further. If its bad then they want to rant somewhere. So it the difficult part is trying to get people with positive experiences with ISPs to actually review.

So I'm wondering what the people on here would do? In the spirit of helping others, would you provide a review for an ISP with a positive experience?

Yeah. I'd do it. Can you make it mandatory for people to include Speedtest results? We might be able to work out the average of Ireland, its counties and its ISP.

I miss Net Index badly, I visited it every few days to see if were any closrt o leapfrogging the UK but then they replaced it with that Speedtest Awards shíte.

Thanks for the replies. I tend to review things myself also. Hotels, products etc. Mainly because I rely on reviews when I'm traveling somewhere or buying something, so I see the value in it.

The option is there (currently disabled/hidden) to add speedtests. Making them mandatory may make some people not bother. Also need to assume people have ruled out issues within their own home affecting speed tests.
