WTD: Road Bike

Looking for a road bike, I currently have a medium sized Specialized so I'm guessing around 54cm frame size would be right.

Tiagra or greater groupset with a compact chainset preferred.

I'll set €450 as my budget but if there's a bargain to be had I would definitely stretch that out.

If it helps, my current road bike is a Medium sized Allez, which fits me perfectly but I just fancy an upgrade from the sold SORA groupset with the thumbshifters and I figure it probably cost me less to sell the current bike and buy a newer model than it would if I just upgraded the groupset.

I've gotten good life out of this bike because I only use it for spins, I have a touring/CX/Gravel bike which I use as an every day bike and a single speed beater which I use when I'm going to lock it in the city.

I'd be interested in having a look, 52cm isn't far off the size of the Allez and the geometry seems a little more aggressive for the FP1 so it might fit fine?

    Any pics/specs?

Hey yeah just had a look there. Let me have a think on it, I'm not really a campag guy so need to weigh that up.

I've had to pass one Cirano's offer thanks to work going a bit haywire and not being able to view/collect the bike for the next 10-14 days, but I am still very much in the hunt for a new machine, so bumping this. If you've ordered a new bike and don't want to let your current one go until it arrives, maybe this is the tread for you? :P

Hey, I have a carbon Ridley Orion which I'm in the process of building back up to sell.
It has been idle in my shed for a while since a bit too big for me (I'm 5' 7")
Its got Tiagra 9-speed shifters and deraileurs, and an FSA compact chainset.
There's a couple of pics I took last weekend - I've just bought a new cable set, and bar tape to put on. I'll also be putting a chain on there during the week so she'll be set for a test spin.
If you're interested let me know.

I was thinking around the 500 mark.
The wheels have done only around 2000 km in the dry, brand new cassette, brand new tyres.
The chainset has done around 300km. Bit more mileage on the shifters and mechs but everything is working perfectly.
The frame has some minor marks and rubs but nothing major.
