Good looking/ Make up

As is the norm on a Sunday evening i was flicking through the TV stations and happened to come across this RTE documentary with the drug smuggler caught in Peru, i didn't leave it on too long as i think she should've been left to rot in her cell but that's neither here nor there with regards this post.

What i did notice is she looks a pretty attractive girl in this interview whereas in the shots of her arrest etc. she looked like a sack of ****, i know the situation wouldn't be conducive to looking your best but she genuinely did not look like someone with anything physically attractive about her at all and when i heard she worked as a model i couldn't believe it.

What i want to know is do a lot of women these days genuinely look like completely different people with and without make up? Any girlfriend or one night stand i've had has never actually looked like a completely different person with and without make up. Maybe it's a new thing and a womans attractiveness relies more on her skills with a make up brush than her actual natural beauty? I feel like i'm about 80 and it's all a strange new world but i'm only in my 30's

The majority of women who wear makeup are very average without it tbh, while us blokes are sexy bastids 24/7

I remember at the time there was lots of photos of her on nights out and she looked good.
I suppose of any of us got caught with loads of drugs in am airport in another country we wouldn't look our best. She goes look great now.

Make up can be hugely transformative. Some people look much better wearing none, some look far less attractive without any - but it all depends on the kind of look you are in to. If you google celebrities without make up, you will see that some look completely different with no make up on - some look awful with none, some way prettier without any. I guess it is all a matter of personal taste. Women are a lot more clued in - we can always tell whether another woman is wearing make up or not, and how much. Some use a little to enhance what they have, others use it like face paint to totally change their look.

I look and feel prettier wearing it but I feel more me without it.

Is that really worse than how Lisa looks with the make up on? She just looks more like somebody her age without the make up, and less fake. Though completely different - hence the term make up 'artist's!

I was checking the Facebook page of young Irish singer recently. She's 23 I think. She wears make up all the time and it's absolutely caked onto her face except for a recent post where she was sick in hospital and she took a selfie from the hospital bed without makeup. Honest to God, the difference was unreal. I hardly recognised her without makeup. She looks older wearing makeup like late 20s or even in her 30s. Without makeup she looked like late teens. I think she she looked much better without makeup.

Is there some rule now whereby people in the criminal justice system no longer just serve the remainder of their sentence but also have to physically decay while they're incarcerated. Maybe an outbreak of necrotising fasciitsis would help you get your wish.
