40inch TV + soundbar

Hi folks - looking for recommendations for a 40 inch telly. Also need a soundbar to go with it (decent quality but budget conscious on the soundbar). The telly is to replace an older Philips 37inch bought from your Dublin Philips store which measures 910mm in width - the replacement needs to be absolutely no wider as it needs to sit in an alcove. It looks like nobody does 37 inch screens anymore? I'm open to suggestions but don't know anything about features like 4k or curved screens, so likely they're not going to be important for me. Thanks!
