Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moving from Irish secondary school to American Highschool

Not sure if this is the right site to be asking on, but my family and I may be moving to NYC this summer. We are all citizens and have previously lived there, and we moved to Ireland around 5 years ago. I'm currently in secondary school, about to do the junior cert, and I'm wondering where I would be put in the American school system, and how much of a chance it would be in terms of subjects and difficulty.

I don't find school here terribly difficult, and I've heard the SATs are much easier, but I'm thinking history, geography, french and science may be different to what I've been learning.

    Any information would be appreciated
