Michael Ball taking the Terry Wogan slot on BBC R2 Sunday morning

    If you listen to BBC R2 at the weekend you'll probably be aware that Richard Madeley (the male half of 'Richard and Judy') stepped in to the Terry Wogan (RIP) Sunday late morning (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) slot back in November. Though Richard promised us that Terry would be back in mid January, sadly events conspired to see that Terry never made it back to the studio.

    Richard announced today that Michael Ball will be taking over the Sunday slot on a permanent basis beginning next Sunday (Apr 10th). For the past week or so Michael Ball has been standing in for Steve Bruce in the late morning Mon-Fri 9:30 to 12 slot.

    Promos for the new show are running on BBC Radio 2 for Michael Balls new show in 'Terry's Slot' (if you hear the promo you will know what I mean).
