GNIB card and re-entry visa renewal

    Hi,
I work at a startup company in Dublin and my **GNIB** card and **re-entry visa** expires at the end of May (2016) and I have some questions around these (the websites I found that I can get information are confusing, thats why I wanted to ask here):

    * Which one should I apply first? GNIB or visa?
    * If I need to apply for GNIB first, does it matter if it expires soon? (a month)
    * Do I need to go to their office (Burgh Quay) and wait all day there like I did last year, or there is a better way now (like online application, make an appointment or posting documents to office)
    * Are these the only documents I need to renew GNIB card: passport, working permit, my current card?
    * To renew my visa, can I post the documents to avoid waiting at the office?
    * Can I just leave my documents to GNIB to renew my visa instead of posting them?

    Thanks!
