    Hey there,
Wondering does anyone know of a good product or remedy for cleaning the white scum off retainers?
It wont brush off, has set like concrete!
    Thanks

There is a product called retainer bright that might help. Sometime tartar build up on them and soaking in calgon can help. Dont use heat as it can distort them. Often an old retainer can get less than clear looking but it does not effect the way it works.

I use strident tablets on my night guard. They work well, just clean it with plenty of water afterwards.

Be sure with retainers to use no heat. Hard grinding appliances are not thermoplastic and can withstand luke warm water. Retainers generally distort with heat (a dishwasher is not a good idea). Just a word of warning.
