    Hello folks,

My good farmer man has gone back to do the Green Cert. It's been a while since he finished school and to say he has no interest in the course is probably an understatement!

I have taken it on board to do his study for him and give him the condensed version. (even this is hard to get him to do!) I was brought up on a farm myself, but a lot of the language and terms are completely wasted on me. The farm I was reared on was a balin twine and stick a pallet in the gap kinda job! (and it never let us down..... too badly!) Therefore I have no idea what the Enterprise Performance Checks are that my better half is meant to be carrying out, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't either!

Is there any chance of having a forum to talk about the course and modules or does undermine the whole educational experience for my poor oul reluctant student....

Thanks for any help in advance :)

I really hope he's bringing you on a serious holiday for doing this!

They are exactly the ones larrymiller. You are a hero :)

As for the holiday, the poor fella is married to the land!!! A holiday is a foreign concept!!!!

Also, some of these questions at the end of sections.... Are they repetitive or am I missing something...

    For example:
What type of plant is a grass plant? - Perinnial. (right?)
Why is grass not killed by cutting or grazing like other plants? - Because it is a perinnal plant (or am I missing something here!!!)

I'm sure there is a collective sigh at my ignorance, but there is no other answer in the section. ( I will admit to missing the 4 sections before this however!)

Bless you for your efforts. It's difficult and nearly impossible to learn an auld dog new tricks .
Repetition, repetition, repetition appears to be the key to training in conjunction with rewarded treats - be them financial or otherwise ;)
