Gaeltacht for 2 weeks or 3 weeks?

Hi, so basically I'm trying to decide whether to go to a Gaeltacht for 2 or 3 weeks. Now preferably, I'd rather go for three weeks but the particular Gaeltacht has certain factors that are making me uncertain.

The two week course (15 days):
-Last two weeks of summer holidays.
-Only current 4th and 5th year students.
-Classes are focused on elements of the 2017 leaving cert course.

The three week course (22 days):
-Can be late June and early July or late July.
-Open to all year groups, with an estimated 30-40% being 2nd years.
-Classes won't be focuses on LC material.

Now although I'd rather go for the 22 days I'd rather spend time with people my own age and do work that will help me in regards to the leaving cert, as I'll be a 6th year after this summer. I'm dead set on this Gaeltacht, it's been recommended to me and it seems to be great for everything I want. If anyone could help me by giving me some advice as to what seems better, or if they have any experiences that could help or whatever. Thanks for any help, I just need to make a decision soon...😂😁

And sorry in advance if this is the wrong section, sorry...😥

I think you've answered your own question really!

If you are interested in learning material focused on the Leaving Cert then I would go with the two week course. At the end of the day you go to the Gaeltacht to learn Irish although it is lots of fun also. If I were you I'd go to the course that's more educational and get your moneys worth. Having it at the end of the summer holidays will mean that all the material is fresh in your mind also for when you return to school.

I went to a three week course last year, and although it was good fun, I do wish it was more focused on relevant material for the Leaving Cert. They only did this with 5th years though.
