    Hi guys,
    quick question.

Can I rent/buy a house and transform it to be half house and half commercial property?

Which kind of permits do I need to do that?

    Thanks

Probably planning permission for change of use and if it's a rental property, permission from the landlord.

Depends what you call "commercial". If its in a residential area and you plan for people to visit you in the course of business, then planning is needed and unlikely to be given.

If its just to work from home and not have regular business visitors, then there's no real issue.

Some people use homes for hairdressers / beauty places - and whilst strictly they need planning, usually no-one cares much unless it causes an annoyance.
