Rug grippers

Hi folks, sorry if this isnt the right section. Looked like the best place to me.

Im looking for something to grip a large rug to kitchen tiles. My wife bought some plastic/silicone triangles for the corners that were absolutely useless.
We then tried a thing that was in argos, looks like wooden floor underlay and that was fantastic for a few weeks. Then it started to move but apparently needs to be washed every few weeks to hold its grip. We've washed it a few times now and it might as well be binned.
Any ideas on something that works but will also last?
    Thanks a mill.
