    Well I got the SV 30kw 6kva

    Registered with NissanconnectEV

No issues my web page is being updated

    First surprise

The car is transmitted GPS coordinates , cause find my car does just that -scary

Anyone know how to set up the user RSS feeds ? I can add a feed from the web page but can't work out how to specify the actual RSS feed url

Also I note the manual mentions sms messages , how are they set up

    Any ideas

    Congrats !

Where does it show transmitting GPS coordinates ? I knew it did though because it sends trip data to carwings.

Every time you turn on the car you have to press I agree , and if you don't do this then it won't update the driving history to connect and you won;t be able to see your consumption , efficiency etc etc. I don;t know whether you still have to press ok on the 2016's ?

    RSS.

You can find the channels in the car under menu, carwings, favourite channels, this is on a 151 of course.

Don;t forget to set up Google send to car in google maps. You'll need your connect ID. It's brilliant. Though your Nav unit is probably better but send to car might still be very handy.

There is considerable differences between car wings and connectEV even though the manual is confused as is the descriptions in the head unit.

Currently on connectEV there is a " find my car " which shows your car on a map on the app.

Today however the whole system seems to be down in thAt my car got no updates

Yes the touch to say yes to send data is still there

What's googles send to car useful for ?

Is it possible to use Google Maps (if you pair your phone with the head unit), instead of the in car sat nav package

Advantage being you have free updates to Google maps, favourites etc

Google send to car lets you send a location to the sat nav in the Leaf from Google maps in your web browser, useful for up to 152 Leafs I suppose because it's just like a normal dedicated sat nav unit they're usually crap to try and find somewhere compared to Google maps. I don't know what the nav in the 161 is like.

Well I only had a my2015 leaf for a week so can't really be ðefinitive. If anything the head unit on the my2016 is so packed with stuff it's takes time to find out where everything is. ( there no hope of SWMBOworking it out I'm afraid )

The sat nav seems adequate , the Chargers update etc, but now and the it seems to have forgotten one or two , and " discovers " them as new

In the long run , there needs to be a serious set of standards developed to handle live update status of chargers. The fact that even ecars own all is real time is simply astonishing with today's technology. I was writing code for this type of thing 15 years ago. ( and the esb has some serious telemetry experience too )

To see static icons in this day and age. Well I never .....
