Podcasts app disappeared from my iPad.

    This happened a few updates ago. I keep hoping that updates will bring it back but no, doesn't happen.

    When I try and download it from the App Store I only have the open option, but when I press that nothing happens.

    Suggestions and remedies welcome!

    I would be happy if that happened to me!! Apple's podcast app is a storage hog. Delete all the podcasts off it and it still takes up space!!

    Use Overcast, far superior.

    Try:

    General > Restrictions > Podcasts and toggle it to on.
