how to get lac

    I am a newb when it comes to this so here goes. i am trying to find the mast which i am receiving my mobile broadband from. i have cell id, mcc and mnc but need lac and have not clue how to get this. using a e5186 router if that helps.

    Look up Ireland offline and there is a map there with cell towers I think. Look in your area and look at the cell id's

    There is a a custom built toolbox utility someone made for the E5186 which reveals extra hidden details not presented in the router's web interface:

    I had no luck getting it to work with my Huawei B593s-22, although it reportedly also works with the Huawei B315.
