CAP 2 Revision Week - Worth It?

    Hey Guys,

I have a bit of a predicament and need some advice re: the CAP 2 revision week coming up in May. I'm from the North West so I'd have to travel up to Dublin and stay up for the 7 days in a hotel (or similar). I've been pricing the trip (bus up, accommodation for the week, food, etc.) and it'll cost me the best part of €800. I'd be able to afford it (just about) but I'm not willing to part with that sort of cash unless it was the difference between a pass and a fail.

I've the days booked off work so either way I'll be studying. If I don't go to Dublin I'll probably just go down on the local library for 8-9 hours and practice some exam questions.

Just to give you an idea of where I am at, I'm hoping to have completed the syllabus in the next 2-3 weeks. That's not to say much of it has sank in though, I'm far from exam ready at the minute

Total waste of money, study yourself and practice lots of past papers. This has been the difference between a pass/fail for many and esp at cap 2 where its quite technical. You need SPEED which past papers help with.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will do that. I'd be saving myself a lot off hassle and time and transit (that could be used more productively).
