Will be looking to buy aa set of wheels in the next few weeks and was thinking of buying a set of Ribble's own brand CSN carbon wheels but can find out very little about them except the fact that they arent light but that doesnt worry me.
    Anyone have/had a set?
What hubs do they use etc etc?

One of my sons has had a set of the XL50s for about the past five years. They are the clinchers with shimano freebody.I have always maintained that they were the best value deep section wheelsets out there.I think they were [are] great value.Replaced bearings in each wheel once in the five years.
Negative is that yes they are on the heavy side.

I went on a 500km charity spin a couple of years ago and on of the lads on it had those wheels. He had them with ceramic bearings I think but I can still remember to this day the sound they made. You could hear him coming for miles! They looked the business and he really liked them

Handy enough to change the bearings?

    Gosh they're very well priced.

Is that a real offer? Were they ever actually over a grand?

    And how heavy is "heavy"?

I dont think they were ever a grand considering they are Ribble's own brand.
Weight wise ..well you wont be doing any Alpine climbs on them. I think the tubs are around 1.8kgs

Google gives me...the clinchers are 2.2kg! and tubs 1.6kg.

Ribble say 1500g (without skewers I assume) for the tubs.
