@Barfly '72: Really liking your Bloody Foreland photo. Great stuff. Any chance you would talk us through it? i.e., did you use grads etc??

0.9 Hard Grad and Little Stopper from Memory @Silva360

It is a fantastic part of the country. Rocks can be treacherous, photo doesn't do them justice to the scale of them.

I wish I had a large format camera. Not just for the lenses, detail and amazing character. But for the slower, more thoughtful shooting style.
    Love your photos.

@Daire - same thoughts as Whammy. So much detail and her little freckles!

actually, in the interests of full disclosure, both that shot and (more obviously) this one ...
    26889018184_5b6c75febf_n.jpg

were actually posed. Slow setup & slower emulsion = no casual shooting. Also, both are medium format, not LF. Though the camera I was using, a Mamiya Super 23, has rear movements. Tried something with the first shot above, screwed it up with the second shot because I forgot to reset them. Every shot is an education :D

also also, yes I love the rendering on these plates. They're some Kodak Ortho plates I picked up off EBay. Age unknown.

like me, you would probably do a double take if the tab opens on this image, but with the top of the image truncated by the top of the window. just enough so the toes are not visible.

Thank you. I have tried getting a shot here a couple of times before but this time had the best reflections in the water.

I presume it's from a drone? Do you have a live view or were you judging it purely on orientation?

If you're going to composite the moon you should probably bear in mind that it's a sphere* :p

-edit- *ok, ok, actually not -quite- a sphere but near as makes no difference to the naked eye anyhow.
