    Hi,

I just seen Mc Donalds announce this, as their way of paying back the loyal Irish customers over the years. It's tied in with the easter rising celebrations as far as I know.

Definitely will be screaming my lungs off at lunch on Friday!

I'd personally rather keep my dignity but free is free and each to their own I guess!

Be a fool to miss a free burger! Sure all you have to sing is three words, not the hole anthem. Not very good at public singing though, I piss pronounciate a lot of my worms

Savvy in that McDonalds will know that very few of us actually know all the words..... Especially at branches in GAA heartlands, where it's the norm to start cheering about 2/3rds of the way through the song!

The chorus alone won't cut it. Might get you a free hamburger as a consolation prize.

    Thread is a whopper anyway.

Is this a joke or what?

Would be pretty cute of Macca's if it wasn't!

It is free, but admission is by ticket only.

BK are organising an alternative - come in dragging a tricolour and get a free Ireland.

My 7 year old knows it start to finish and even she wouldn't embarrass herself to get a free burger (even if it weren't an April fools)!

Send us a video and make sure you get the bit where they ask for payment

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

It's not very intelligent, even considering it's a burger.
