Hi all, my 01 Passat needs nearly everything replaced on the front suspension. After a quick look on ebay, ten piece kits are commonly priced between 110 and 140 Sterling.
Has anyone here any recommendations as to brand or source of a quality kit?

Febi is your best bet, there is another brand too, i cannot think of it at the moment, dont buy anything non branded, complete waste of money

Lots of cheap stuff going around atm that dosent last very long. I'd recommend going to a decent motor factors where u will have some come back. Bit dearer but worth it imo

Try stick with well know brands....cheap is ok but won't last to long.

Have you big wheels?? They will make your suspension wear a lot quicker and will not help with cv joints and shafts

I fitted one of these cheap sets to my brother-in-laws passat a few years ago. He drove the car for over a year without any issues with the arms failing.
Id agree that the dearer arms are better and if only one or two arms needed changing that I would go this route, but when faced with changing all the arms at a cost of around 600 euro for top quality arms Id consider the cheap arms

TRW or Lemforder are also good brands. I've found www.mister-auto.ie to be the cheapest.
