FS: Trek 1.5 58cm

Selling my trusty commuter bike, as I now work from home so have no more use for it. It's a Trek 1.5 from 2011 in matt black. It's size 58cm, so suitable for somebody around 5'11" - 6'3".

It's an aluminium frame with carbon fork. Groupset is compact 9-speed Shimano Tiagra. Drivetrain is FSA. Finishing kit is Bontrager. I upgraded the saddle to a Specialized Romin and I also added Shimano SPD pedals, which are included. Also included is a Tortec ultra-lightweight luggage rack and Tortec full-length mudguards. Tyres are 25mm Schwalbe Durano Plus with well under 1000km on them.

This bike was always stored indoors - in my spare room at home, and in the underground carpark at work. It has been well maintained, with regular servicing and has had various parts replaced including bottom bracket twice. I took it for a quick spin at the weekend (the first in over a year!) and everything is working perfectly. There is however a little play in the front wheel hub, so may be worth replacing that.

Overall a very tidy bike that would make an excellent commuter, or remove the mudguards and rack and you get a great entry-level roadbike.
