I would really appreciate some advice.

I hate my job, but I've left my last 2 jobs after only a few months and it's not because I want to job hop, I was just unlucky and ended up in jobs I hated. Now I don't know what to do because my CV looks so jumpy.

My work is meaningless to me and getting up in the mornings is getting harder and harder. I feel miserable but I don't feel I can leave because my CV now looks terrible and because I don't know what I even want to do career wise anymore. I feel so trapped.

Why do you hate this job? Is it the people? The work you're doing? You are now in your third job that you hate, right? So what is the common denominator?

What is it you hate about the job?

If you don't like the sort of jobs you're landing now, then you are probably looking at doing some sort of retraining or upskilling. It may be worth going to a career guidance advisor and looking around to see what courses are available. It may be possible to do evening/weekend courses or distance learning if you're not in a position to give up your job.

Out of curiosity, are you someone who spent years and years in college. It could be something as simple as you not knowing what it's like to go to work and hold down a job. I'm all for people getting the best qualifications they can but sometimes I think spending too long in college can institutionalise people.

    Hi OP.

i wonder what your expectations are if you have had 3 jobs in a row you cannot stand. Is it hard to suck it up and complete a year where you are? Why?

i think potential employers will understand leaving a job or 2 in short succession, but a pattern is developing here. And i dont mean this to be over critical but the one constant through your last 3 jobs was yourself.

What type of work are you doing, OP? It's pretty clear that you are not suited to the sector or line of work that you are currently in. I think a visit to a career advisor would be a good move. I would look to retrain, based on the advice that he or she gives you.
