wii u firmware question

    hi,

    if i buy a wii u console, just the console, 0n 5.3.2. Will my gamepad play on it given my old console is 5.5??

    I'd imagine if you just update the firmware on the Wii U to the latest version, it'll be grand?

    Oh I see...so you need the Wii U on a lower firmware than the gamepad will be on...honestly, don't know, I'd imagine it'd work but never heard of anyone trying it

    You should try it. I know the gamepads have their own firmware on them, but last time I saw mine update itself was when they added quickstart.

    Also, 5.5.1 is being worked on anyway.
