Looking at maybe getting one of these under €5000?! Any opinions on the car? Probably looking at 2006 or 2007 at that budget.

    Thanks

In 1.4 guise, will probably feel a good bit underpowered... the 1.8 is a much much better fit for this car imo

The 1.4 is quite slow alright, but 6 speed box makes it a bit easier to keep up.
As above, if you can get insurance and don't mind the extra tax, the 1.8 is the one to get, they're not any less economical. They are better equipped too.

Thanks for the info! Have yet to drive one but had thought the 1.4 might be a bit under powered.

I presume bluetooth is out at this kind of budget!?

Gpretty much, but you can retrofit Bluetooth
You won't get that many cars in that segment in 06/07 that have factory Bluetooth.
