Plumbing advice

We moved into our house 6 months ago. All is going great but as with all houses there are a few small issues I’m trying to get sorted. I’ve noticed in the hot press, two of the gate\globe valves (I think these are the valves, red handles) appear to have be leaking very small amounts of water (a few drips) at the base of the hand wheel. Also at the bottom pipe entering the hot tank a few drops are leaking (Rate seems quite low, if I put a breakfast size bowl under the pipe it would take a week to fill it.)

There are no obvious signs to me that the leaking was occurring before (some slight discoloration of timber in hot press near the valves\pipe entering tank).

Would this just start happening when I turned water on when we moved in? (High pressure etc).
What would the steps be to fix these problems?

    Any advice or info appreciated

    Thanks

If the valves are leaking at the Glands then a small tighting of the nut under the Wheels should cure them. Likewise try tightening the leaking fitting at the Floor.
