True and it would be unusual for Slaney not to have details up early. I live close to the event and have heard nothing on the grapevine to say that is won't be running. They have a Facebook page if you want to ask them directly.

    Entry opens 1st May.
This a great event, it's really well organised and the food is great.

Rude not to take a trip up to the mast if passing by, defo the most excruciating climb I have ever done on a bike.

there's also the Blackstairs challenge, Sun April 17th(not assoc in any way) which goes up Mt. Leinster, with the option of a route with 2 ascents (blunclody & carabout?)

did this last yr (only 1 route for Mt. leinster), very well organised and big turnout
its not a CI event, but they have their own website, google should find it
