Youth Work or Experience?

    Hey,

I have been working with disadvantaged young people for a number of years now, well volunteering full time.
I have sociology undergrad and a pgdip in child mental health.
Youth work seems to be the next step for me but from what I see in various projects, staff arent necessarily qualified in youth work and some arent qualified in the area at all.
On job adverts experience seems to be the most important thing, with the youth work qualification desirable.
Pleaaaassseee help! I dont wanna do a two years full time masters in youth work if I could study something more part time and be working at the same time.

    TIA
