Its sort of difficult to follow what you're saying.
So- you've been self employed- and now, for whatever reason, you're looking for a job, but you don't want to start as a new comer into whatever job you're looking for (small money as you put it).........

Essentially- most of us start at the bottom and work our way up- if you have reasonable expectations- alongside a skillset that is in demand- there is no reason you'll not get reasonable offers from prospective employers- however, you do have to be reasonable...........

Also- in a lot of jobs- there may be non-monetary considerations- such as flexi time, additional annual leave- or other benefits- other than pure monetary recompense- you need to be reasonable and factor all these things into account.

If you were to post over in the Work and Jobs forum- with an idea of your skillset, and what your expectations are- the guys over there might be better able to advise as to what you can reasonably expect to encounter in the current jobs marketplace.
