Just on a side note for anybody interested the delivery cost is per unit, not per order so 2 cost €205.60 delivered

Yes it can according to xda developers, nothing from the official CM site though so just be aware that it is not officially supported

Then again CM isn't supported at all by most big companies

I have a battered HTC one m8 on its last legs. Would the Amazon phone,once loaded with the alternative software be a good replacement?

I think the HTC has a 1080p screen and this is 720p. Might not bother you but it would feel like a downgrade to me, it's a good price though.
