Flat Tyre - What do I do with the old tyre?

This is a really basic question but I just don't know so have to ask.

I got my first flat on the car Sunday. I was able to change the Tyre myself and I'll pick up a new back up Tyre tomorrow when most places are open again.

My question though is how do I properly dispose of the old Tyre?

If you're replacing with a brand new tyre then just hand the old one in a the seller and let them sort it.

Unless the flat tyre is totally destroyed you wont be getting rid of it. You'll get it repaired. Usually costs 10 - 20 euro for a repair.
