Taking the MOT with an unregistered car?

    Hi guys
    I'm moving to the UK and thinking of bringing my car over with me. I intend to use it for 6 months without registering it and then getting rid.

    My NCT here is until June, so can I get an MOT done on the car I'd it's not registered in the UK?

    I very much doubt it.

    Why not do the nct here now then you're covered?

    are you planning to register it before you sell it? or sell it back in ireland?
