Hi. I was painting a wardrobe with a Dulux high gloss paint. It was fine last night when I applied it, but today it looks terrible. Lots of running bits that are thicker than the rest, and other bits I missed, which are still showing an undercoat. Should I sand the whole lot down and start again with another gloss coat, or should I just patch up the bits I missed and sand down the areas that have thick hardened-in drops ?

Don't sand it for a few days, up to a week. It won't be hard enough to sand now. When ready give it all a sanding especially the thick blobs.
When you paint it again use a 4 inch roller, either mohair or sponge. You'll get better coverage and less of a mess.
