    I know the above engine has both a dry belt and a wet belt which can make it expensive to change but what are people's opinions on them? The 1.6 engine can be a potential time bomb if unsure of its history,

    Are they as contrary as the 1.6?

    Had one here in a 06 focus , put 186 k miles on it with no major problems, replaced the intercooler pipe and heater plugs, that was all, was still going perfectly until it met its demise in a flood
