Security Camera House Installers?

I am about to buy an NVR and 2 x 1080p External Dome security cameras and would like to get them installed on my house, one at the front and one at the back under the eaves of the house.

I would need an installer to mount the cameras and run the cables etc. neatly from the cameras on the outside and get them connected up.

Most installers are only interested in supplying and installer their own cameras and equipment but the quotes I am getting are insanely high as I can buy a decent system myself for about €200 and then it is probably about 4 hours worth of work to wire everything up so was thinking about another €200 or so for labour.

Anyone know anyone in the Waterford or South East region that does these types of installs?

You should just let them supply and fit. no one wants to fit someone else's system. If there's a problem with system you will be onto them about it.
you probably are buying off the net. don't blame them at all fleecing you on fitting. Support local businesses

€1000+ to supply and fit the exact same system that I can buy myself for €200!

So for about 4 hours work they are charging €800!

I am all for supporting local businesses but I won't be ripped off by them or anyone else!

Contact any electrician and they can do it.

Would you not buy a good ladder and drill and do it yourself?

Fit them yourself then. There is more involved than just 4 hours labour

Is it something to do with PSA licences, that CCTV is gone so expensive to install I remember hearing.
