Hi currently looking at options to buy a house or build
There is a zoned green area in our favourite area that is situated slap bang in middle of row of 10 detached houses. According to locals it was initially left to be a through road 30 odd years ago but that was decided against and seeded and few trees put in.
My husband grow up around corner from it and his parents still live In area does anyone know would it be possible to apply to have area zoned for development? One detached Property would fit there

How much would county council charge for it?

For any council to sell land it must be voted on by the local councillors. It will generally then go to public sale and they would certainly look to get market value for the site. A local architect should be able to advise on the specifics.
