Foxford woolen mills do a seconds table where blankets sre usually hslf price. You often would find very minor defects with blanket like a loose thread etc. I have gotten lots of blankets there. Excellent quality. You do have to go to a shop of theirs to find them though. They do a selection of smaller lap blankets too for about €40.

I was looking for old wool blankets for the dog. I found some new unused, still in the packaging, pure wool blankets. Unwanted wedding presents from the 80s, On E bay. Loved them and kept them for ourselves.

You will probably pay between €100-165 for a pure lambswool throw I',m afraid. Any cheap alternatives will probably be second grade wool or at the very least a mix of wool and synthetics so will be more abrasive to the touch and won't last as long with general use.
Art of the Loom do gorgeous lambswool throws, in a range of colours and patterns, in the price bracket mentioned above.
