I was in New York last week. Just thought I would share a few photos (weather and not so weather related) from the trip/flight over.
Nice sun pillar....from the car park in Dublin Airport (re-sized photo does not really do justice).
View of Howth, just before entering the clouds.
Great clear skies further west....
Lough Conn (the bigger one) and Lough Cullin (the smaller one).
The Erris Peninsula.
Sea ice between Greenland and Newfoundland.
Much tighter packed sea ice off the coast of Newfoundland.
And....when I got to New York....a 'homely' looking Empire State Building (viewed from my hotel window).
