Creep Feeding

Looking for some advice on this please.
I have an ordinary old type creep feeder with the trough in the middle and lambs go in from either side to eat.
The problem is I have it out over a week now and feck all lambs are going into it. There are 20 lambs in the field with it and I feed the sheep at the troughs beside it to try and coax the lambs in but no joy.
I empty out the remaining food every day and replace it with clean Red Mills creep food.

How do others get their lambs to go into creep feeders, any advice would be appreciated.

what age are the lambs ? they will pick from a young age but intakes will be low until they get to 6 weeks especially if they have good grass and getting plenty of milk

I used to get Red mills ped no 3 in the past but of late have found it to be poor quality (dusty and too much fine ingredients)

I now use Liffey Mills lamb creep to get them started & then thier Lamb Finisher

Oh maby they are a bit young so as they are only on average 4 weeks old yet. It's just very few of them are going in to try it out. I don't mind if they are not eating much yet but just hoped they would go in for a look anyway.

Once one has discovered it that's all you need - they'll lead each other in...

Think 4 weeks might be a bit young all right. When we used to creep, we'd feed the ewes and watch for lambs picking at the trough, catch em and throw em into the creep feeder... They weren't long figuring it out...
